Bodega Harbour is a homeowners association that provides a unique opportunity for a premium coastal lifestyle that is convenient to the Bay Area, and only 75 minutes from the Golden Gate Bridge. Amenities include a clubhouse with restaurant and lounge, tennis courts, bocci, gym, swimming pool, locker rooms, private beach access and an 18-hole golf course.
725 homesites are set about land that straddles the famed Pacific Coast Highway. About a third of the homes are occupied full-time while another third are second homes. The balance are vacation rentals.
The HOA is governed by CC&Rs that regulate architectural and landscape design thus preserving an architectural language that respects the beauty of the region. Material used for construction are intended to blend with the environment, and weather naturally. Exterior lighting is indirect, there are no streetlights, and utilities are underground.
Community activities and clubs are organized through a monthly newsletter, Harbour Tidings. Ad hoc committees are organized with volunteers to administer functions of the community, such as landscape and design review, while providing an opportunity for involvement by homeowners. The HOA, including golf operations, is professionally managed with oversight by a Board of Directors elected by parcel owners.
